D42B - 42 Bottle - Wine Fridge
The D42B wine fridge has a seamless design which will blend perfectly into any kitchen. The exterior is fully black which contrasts with the illuminated interior that will elegantly showcase your collection.
Designed to be placed in any indoor space freestanding or built-in under kitchen counters, it's compact handle tucks neatly away making it virtually invisible. The feet and bottom plinth of the unit can be adjusted to fit the height of cabinets also.
The reversible door option offers additional flexibility for a perfect fit in your kitchen. Storing up to 42 Bordeaux bottles, in its two separate temperature zones that can be set between 4°C and 22°C, this wine cooler will enhance any kitchen space. The powerful cooling technology efficiently cools the wine, regardless of ambient temperature and all Dometic products come with 2 years parts and labour warranty.
Freestanding / Built In Wine Fridge
The Dometic D42B is designed as a freestanding or built in wine cooler. This dual-zone wine cooler creates the perfect climate for storing and ageing wine. It has room for 42 Bordeaux bottles, attractively presented behind a 3-layer, UV-resistant glass door and softly illuminated with a white interior light. A beautiful addition to any home, restaurant or hotel bar – suitable for freestanding and built in use.
Wine Storage Compartment
The D42B has a temperature range of 5-22°C. The dual zone feature always you to have two independently controlled temperature zones (Upper zone 4-12°C and lower at 12-22°C). All wines, whether white or red, should be stored at the same temperature as that of a natural cellar. Irrespective of the ambient temperature, Dometic wine coolers ensure constant temperature throughout the year, storing 18 bottles between 12 °C and 14 °C – thanks to electronic temperature regulation, acting on external cold or heat production.
Energy Efficiency and Noise Level
All of the Dometic 'design' wine coolers are quiet running machines at only 39dB, having witnessed these units running in the flesh Elite Wine Refrigeration can vouch for this. They also meet their new energy label requirements, rated G, 158 kWh /annum.

Delivery FAQs
We aim to deliver stock items in 2-3 weeks as we transfer goods to the NI depot every 1-2 weeks.
Once the goods are transferred, our logistics will be in touch to confirm a delivery date. Please note, delivery lead time can be extended upto 5 weeks. Please contact us directly so we can advise further.
Unfortunately, this service is not currently available in Northern Ireland and Republic or Ireland.
Delivery will be between 8 and 6pm Monday - Friday, the driver will call the recipient before delivery. An ETA will be given on the morning of delivery via email or SMS.
Yes, that wouldn't be a problem - for stock items we would store them in our warehouse for upto a couple of months. For non stock wine coolers, we would ensure they are ordered and ready for you when you require delivery. We will always try our best to accommodate you.
Yes, the majority of our units are delivered from our UK warehouse - the cost varies between €39-€69 depending on the size of the item ordered.
Please note if you choose the 2 person delivery service, the lead time will be longer (up to 4 weeks) as we deliver the units into our 2 person logistics provider based in Northern Ireland.
If your wine cooler arrives damaged or you are unhappy with the quality of the item, please contact us immediately when the crew are still on site.
If you cancel your order and the goods are still in our warehouse, then there will be no charge - if you cancel your order when the goods have left our warehouse and collected by our courier, we will deduct the cost of the delivery from the refund. As an indication, the cost of this will vary depending on the size of the unit and will be in the range of £75 to £145+VAT.
We strongly advise you check the dimensions of the product before ordering, some of our products are ordered in especially for this order and means the order cannot be cancelled once the goods have been collected.
